A BMW 728 I with almost 165,000 Km (~103,000 miles) suffered lost of power, probably due to wear. The gasoline engine, 2.8 liter, 6 cylinder in-line was treated with Rewitec.
The engine was previously taken to a dynamometer and measured 123 kW (~168 hp).The car was driven around 500 km (~300 miles) and tested again. This time, the dyno showed a reading of 130 kW (~178hp). That was an increase of 5% over the previous measurement. Immediately after the test, the engine was treated with the second half of the dosage of Rewitec NanoCoating and driven for 5,000 km (~3,000 miles). A third dynamometer test was then performed to the car in the same place. The power now was of 140 kW, (~192 hp).
