The Toyota SUV has a 2980 cc engine, 4 cylinder turbo charged, with automatic transmission. This SUV with its original engine has run 163,846
Due to deteriorating conditions in power, oil consumption, and exhaust fumes, the engine was treated with Rewitec.
Based on a test cycle mixture of city and distance driving several conditions were measured before as Baseline (July 21, 2008) and after the Rewitec treatment (October 11, 2008).
All measured valued have improved. It is interesting to note that:
• the vibration has reduced by 14.5%
• the exhaust 'k' factor has come down over 18.7% and
• it has a reading which is now better than Euro 4 emissions specification the NOX gases has also reduced over 7%.
Fuel consumption has improved by an estimated 13.35%
